Applicable to: Machine rooms with temperatures >50°C and fully equipped with high-density cards (10 or more processing and relay cards); the dual power supplies share the load, offsetting power derating caused by high temperatures and ensuring sufficient output power at full load.

Due to the high ambient temperature (nearly 50°C) on a certain offshore oil platform and the extremely high requirements for system availability, two RPS6U 200-582-200-013 power modules were selected to operate in a non-redundant configuration, jointly supplying power to a fully equipped rack to ensure sufficient power headroom even in high-temperature environments. The system has been operating stably for over two years without any power-related failures.
