Technical Description
The SPAJ 110 C earth-fault relay is a secondary relay connected to the current transformers of the protected object. Earth-fault current measurement can be achieved via either a set of three phase current transformers in a residual current connection or a window-type core-balance current transformer.
When using a core-balance current transformer, ensure sufficient repeatability at high earth-fault currents. During an earth-fault event, the relay delivers alarm signals, trips circuit breakers, or initiates external auto-reclose relays based on application requirements and relay configuration.
